Pat Crabtree, REALTOR® Currently I live in Central Virginia in the beautiful little historical town of Barboursville, right in the center of horse country and the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. I absolutely love the rolling hills and meadows and particularly love watching the newly born calves and colts frolicking in the spring. I exchanged the wonderful world of coastal living on the beautiful rocky coast of Maine for the Gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountain Views when my now late husband Jerry, daughter Jessyka and I made the move to Virginia in 1997. We've now added Alexis, aka "The Pod" (my delightful granddaughter), Frankie, our dog and Cutie Pie and Nell (who later became Nelson) our two felines.
My background is in Community Counseling and Psychology and that has been extremely helpful in my Real Estate Career. I've found that Real Estate is not just about buying and selling homes, it is much more about helping to guide people through major transitions in their lives and to be a necessary resource for them during that transition. I don't see myself as a "sales person"....I see myself as a "people person" and I think that makes all the difference in the world. This philosophy has served me well in this profession and I believe my clients and customers would agree.
